Annetorp
Industibyn vid kalkbrottet
An in-depth overview plan over the industrial area Annetorp in Malmö, Sweden.
This work focuses on rethinking industrial zones in cities. A sustainable way of urban growth and development means not to keep moving the industries outside the city, but incorporating it into urban areas. This plan offers an alternative to traditional planning, where mixed use includes small scale industries, residential and office space. In this plan they are all integrated in the same urban area.

Annetorp is an industrial zone located on the outskirts of Malmö. The city municipality is currently in the early stages of planning the area in which the industries have no place. After interviews with several owners and workers at the industries, the group saw this as a problem, and used this information to rethink how the industries could be integrated into the city instead of removed in the new plans.
To the industries advantage almost no ground pollution activity is currenly being conducted. The industries does not emmit very much noise either, which works in favour of this alternative.
